• At the start of the episode, the front page of the newspaper Kiwi explains about a gorilla escaping from the zoo, hence that gorilla killed the bananas.
  • This is the fourth appearance of Passion Fruit. The first was Passion of the Fruit, the second was Grapefruit's Revenge, and the third was The Sitcom.
  • This is the first time in a link picture that Orange has an expression other than a smile (actually, the opposite).
  • This is the first episode where title card mentions something that doesn't really happen in the episode.
  • This is the first time Passion Fruit was seen screaming. The second time was in Wishful Thinking when Marshmallow was dropped in the hot cocoa.
  • The viewers learned that a fruit or vegetable getting the hiccups means they will die unless they're cured.
  • This is one of the few episodes to have outtakes.
  • Pear got the hiccups at the end of the episode but it is unknown of how he got rid of them, as they had disappeared by the next episode, and Pear didn't explode.
  • When Pear calls 911 after the title card, the operator was not really a true phone operator, it was actually another actor because calling 911 when there aren't any real emergencies is a crime.
