The Fruitflies were minor characters who first appeared in Pet Peeve. Orange had kept one as a pet, and named him "Spot". He was seen going around and attacking various fruits in the kitchen, but then was eaten by a fruit spider. A few more made appearances in future episodes. One appeared in Magic Clam, flying into Oyster's mouth, thus turning him into a Butterfly. Another appeared in Dr. Bananas, being shot by one of Dr. Bananas' inventions. A few more appeared in April Fool's Gold attacking a lime. They are the second bunch of fruitflies in the series (the first being the the ones from Fortune Cookie).
