The five Mustachios were characters who appeared in Mystery of the Mustachios. They are actually pistachios wearing mustaches because they did not want to get eaten. However, the plan failed when the mustaches started falling off. Four of the "Mustachios" were eaten by Dane Boedigheimer, and the leader was devoured by a caterpillar (or a "pistachio-eating caterpillar"). They are the second nuts in the series.
One of them is known as Barry, as seen in the episode.
The Mustachios now appear in episodes for people to find known as Hidden Mustachios.

Mustachios
They are in both order of their deaths and placement:
Barry: The pistachio with a white mustache and the one on the far left. His mustache became slanted because he had allergies. Because of this, his shell was ripped off, leaving him "naked". He spoke the second most lines, behind the leader.
Sombrero Mustachio: The pistachio on Barry's right. He had a straight brown mustache and insisted that they should have donned sombreros instead.
Middle Mustachio: The one in the middle. He had a dark blonde mustache.
Semi-Far Right Mustachio: Right to middle. He had a dark mustache and the deepest voice.
Leader Mustachio: Far right. Had a black-grey mustache and was the leader. In the end, his mustache stayed on, but still he was eaten by the Pistachio Eating Caterpillar. He spoke the most of all.
