Potato (more commonly known as MysteryPotatoMan) is a supporting character of The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange and The Annoying Orange. He was first seen entering the kitchen complaining about how bright it was in the kitchen. Orange kept mistaking him for many things, such as a dirty pear with sunglasses. MysteryPotatoMan was continuously annoyed by Orange, making him so frustrated that he said that he didn't care about Carrot. He was eventually peeled by Knife. He appeared in many episodes after that (two examples being Annoying Orange Comedy Roast! and Annoying Ways to Die). He currently appears in many episodes of The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange. In his later appearances, he wears different shades than in his debut, and appears in the Marshmallow Show #8: BRITTANI LOUISE TAYLOR and the Marshmallow Show #9: HANNAH HART, dancing.

  • "Ugh, it's way too bright in here, does someone wanna turn the lights down or something?"
  • "I'm not a pear. My name is MysteryPotatoMan."
  • "Ugh! Pear, is this guy always this annoying?"
  • "Pear didn't do it! I saw you!"
  • "No!"
  • "What?! What is it?"
  • "Why would you do that man?"
  • "You're really getting on my skin buddy. If I met some stupid food in my days, but you really take the cake!"
  • "I don't care about Carrot!"
  • "I'm not muddy and I'm not your buddy!"
  • "Sweet mother of (groans) you're voice is stabbing me like, like a giant-"
  • "Ow, I can't see anything! And I can't even hear myself think!"
  • "I don't have anything bad to say about Orange, his face says it all."

  • He is only one of the new characters to talk to both Orange and Pear.
  • He has a Brazilian accent.
  • His nickname POE-TAY-TOE is obviously a reference to Tomato aka TOE-MAY-TOE.
  • He is the first potato in the series.
  • His name is a reference to the YouTube user "MysteryGuitarMan" who is a voice actor for this character. It also could be a reference to the Toy Story character "Mr. Potato Head".
  • The knife that peeled him was not the usual Knife used to murder foods, as it is impossible to peel a potato with a sharp chef's knife. The knife used was a paring knife.
